Searching for a sunflower field in Virginia?
These photos were taken at Woodbine Farm Market in Strasburg, VA. They haven't planted a sunflower field every year so you definitely need to check with them prior to planning your visit! These were taken mid-August to give you an idea on timing, but there are so many factors involved in when they bloom so it's not a precisely predictable timeframe! We bought a fresh bouquet of sunflowers to take home during their pick-your-own event. They also have a fun outdoor rustic play area for littles and a market full of fresh treats and produce, so be sure to check them out.
Another nearby farm began hosting a sunflower festival that you can check if Woodbine Farm Market doesn't plant a sunflower field in 2023. The Homestead Farm at Fruit Hill Orchard in Winchester, VA has become known for their sunflower festival the past few years!
