I'm here to enter the chaos and beauty of this life with the patience of a former preschool teacher, big sister to 7, and mom of 3 wild boys that keep me ever on my toes.
I offer both lifestyle and on-location studio sessions so that whether you want to focus on the precious everyday moments or highlight your child's individual personality with an heirloom portrait session there's a beautifully orchestrated photo session tailored just for you. I edit each photo in a true-to-color, timeless style, and photograph clients both posed and candid as seen in my portfolio.
Standard in-home sessions
Standard, in-home lifestyle sessions are a beautiful way to capture the love and connection your family shares within the comfort of your own home. These sessions are intimate and casual, focusing on the sweet details and daily memories. These are especially perfect for the tender newborn stage!
Stress-free and casual, these can be photographed in any home. I guide you through natural poses and prompts to help you feel confident and at ease so you can focus on the beautiful memories.
Standard Outdoor Sessions
Standard outdoor sessions are fun for those on the go. They showcase Virginia's natural beauty and often involve nature, movement, and adventuring together. They involve a mix of posed and candid portraits and are loads of fun for kids!
Winchester and the surrounding area boasts so many beautiful outdoor locations to choose from! I have a whole list of preferred locations. Just ask!
Printing & Framing services
Package upgrades are available for those looking for the peace of mind of knowing that their portraits are in the hands of an experienced professional from start to finish. If the idea of choosing a lab, uploading, ordering, and framing your photos feels overwhelming to you, I'm here to help! I've partnered with a pro lab and personally inspect each print for quality assurance before delivering to my clients. I'm personally invested in your satisfaction, and delivering physical prints and products is the icing on the cake of being your photographer!
About Me
I was born and raised right here in Virginia. Winchester is my hometown–from the local playgrounds I grew up exploring to the lovely MSV where my husband proposed, my roots have dug down deep and become intertwined with the rich history of generations gone by. It's a beautiful story I get to be a part of, and I am honored to have had the privilege of documenting so many other families who call Winchester home as well.
I've been pursuing photography as a career since my teens and I'm no less excited about it today than I was then. It truly is an art form and I'm still more than a little obsessed all these years later!
If I'm not found with a camera to my eye I'm probably either watering one of my houseplants, cooking, baking, reading, talking to a chicken, journaling, or on another adventure with my boys. I'm nature obsessed and if anything (besides a sweet moment between my kids) stops me in my tracks it's likely a blooming flower, glowing sunset, animal or insect. It's a good thing, too, because my boys LOVE all things outdoors too! In 2024 we moved to a nearby mountain ridge and welcomed boy number 3, so you know it stays exciting around here!
